Fr. Daniel Haugan

Lumen Christi Catholic Community is actually the result of the bringing together of three small faith communities in the heart of Saint Paul. We are located just one block from the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and Ford Parkway. Our greatest assets are not money or buildings, but our people — people committed to being church. Our common faith is most apparent in the way we come together to worship God. People here care for everyone; they pray for one another and they are willing to support one another through the struggles of life as we seek to live intentionally, in the pattern of Christ, together. As you get to know these wonderful folks you will become as convinced as I have that Lumen Christi is a place you can call “my parish.”

Stop over some weekend. Introduce yourself to me and speak with a few of the parishioners and I promise you that you will not leave disappointed. Finding our way to God is more difficult in today’s culture. It can only be done with much encouragement and support. Christian communities offer a unique opportunity in our world to become disciples of the One who shows us how we can love one another and to discover in our encounters here that we are held together by a love that is truly divine.
