Faith in Action: Bringing Christ’s Light to Public Life
Have you ever paused to ask, "What would Jesus do?" in the face of today’s complex world?
Many of us feel a growing urgency to live out our faith more deeply in the public square. If you are looking for a way to translate your values into action, join the new program developed by members of our social justice ministries, Faith in Action: Bringing Christ’s Light to Public Life. We will meet on Tuesday evenings (and one Wednesday, Sept. 23) from September 15th through October 13th, 7:00–9:00 p.m. in the Lumen Christi Community Room.
Together, we will:
Build meaningful relationships within our church and school community.
Deepen our understanding of Jesus’ life and teachings.
Explore practical, tangible ways to love our neighbors.
Reflect on how our faith calls us to respond to injustice.
Take part in a shared experience that brings faith to life beyond Sunday mornings.
While attending all five sessions is encouraged for the best experience, you are welcome to join when you can. Ready to take the next step or need more information? Register here. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfrUG2fZw5J6_bummKcOnKWKrAT_MwG0dB27tgKy7cXaeUupQ/viewform
